No.
As has already been pointed out. With an umbrella you are paid PAYE. Not only that but the expenses regime is tighter so that nice Mac IBook you have been eyeing is a real No, No unless it is required for the contract you are currently engaged in.
As for the generous expenses. Cobblers!! The Brolly may have a dispensation, but you do not. You still need justify each and every expense. An expense must be required for the job, it must be no more and no less than the actual expenses incurred. You will still need reciepts for completing your tax return and you will have to justify it to Hector if he ever comes calling.
